Exchange Courses of Faculty of Medicine
The language of education is mainly Finnish but there are some courses in English to provide for the exchange students.
Please notice: the students applying to Medicine - Faculty of Medicine offers the courses for the exchange students of 4th or 5th year.
In Dentistry they offer the courses for the exchange students of 5th year.
If you are applying the courses for the Autumn term 2012 please notice that some of the courses might start in the middle of August 2012. In that case you'll be informed in advantage.
The courses of the Spring term 2013 will start at the beginning of January 2013.

Clinical rotation
The clinics will offer the clinical rotation. The clinic in question demands that you completed the course in question beforehand at your home university.
The clinic will provide you the hospital clothes, shues etc.
TO YOUR ATTENTION: If you are going to take CLINICAL courses or electives:
Once you arrive to Turku it is mandatory that from you samples are taken and investigated to exclude your contamination with MRSA (meticillin resistant Staphlylococcus aureus) and VRE (vancomycin resistant Enterococcus) . YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO BEGIN YOUR STUDIES, if you don't have these samples investigated. Results take about one week so please arrive well in advance.
